Release Radar: Rabbit Trap

I don't know about you, but I have been craving a good Folk Horror lately. There is something about the world falling apart that makes me crave the powers of ancient forces...

Rabbit Trap, directed by Bryn Chainey, is a psychological folk horror that will amplify the power of sound- unsettling us to our core. With a compelling soundtrack composed by Lucrecia Dalt, you can expect to delve into the sounds and technology of the 70s that will take you “where borders blur and the mind breaks down”- Lucrecia Dalt

Travel to 1976 to an isolated cabin in the Welsh countryside to witness two musicians, Dev Patel and Rosy McEwen, attempt to reinvigorate their inspiration ahead of their new album. However, they will awaken more than their inspiration… Ancient forces begin to stir across the landscape as our musicians begin to lose touch with reality.

If you enjoy folk horror, you will not want to miss the UK & Ireland release of Rabbit Trap this week, so hop down to your local cinema to see Rabbit Trap on 30th January!

Don't worry... I will also be sure to share my review, but if any of you beat me to Cinema, make sure to comment your thoughts down below OR DM me on Instagram @news_for_ghouls
